Default Rit Spirits and NPCs

Do ritualist spirts such as Shelter, Union, etc affect any of the NPCs around? My inclination is to say no as they aren't part of the party list (and not allies like Pets and Togo/Mehnlo)

I was hoping that I could spirit spam the tree singers in Eternal grove, but not sure that it has any effect. I know feast of souls didn't do anything for them, but that may just be due to the wording on the skill.

Thanks

yes spirits such as shelter, union, displacement all effect npcs, feast of souls wont heal them because in the description it specifies that only party members get healed.

Thanks. Hmm, seems like a good build for camping the king in THK and Oro farming as well.

If you look for "allies" inside the skill description, it usually mean that even character outside of your party can recieve the benefit.

Just to verify everyone elses words, it protects the NPCs in the Kurzick mission where you must fend off the attacking Luxons (both the PvP place and the story mission) which makes them quite useful for that part of the game.
